January 21st writing check-in. I’m going to be honest with you right now…whenever I start one of these posts with something like “I hope everyone is doing well” or whatever I kinda feel disingenuous. Like, is anyone REALLY “doing well” right now??? I know that more days than not my answer would be a resounding NO.

But I really do hope you are doing as well as you possibly can be, given the circumstances. Today is one of those days where I woke up actually feeling pretty good, so I’m going to lean into that and savor the feeling.
