For Sale: Apocalypse Bunker
My father is looking at
Zombie apocalypse bunkers on Ebay
and if you don’t believe you could buy
that on Ebay, you really haven’t
spent enough time there
And while I’m pretty sure he’s not about to buy one,
(right now)
he just likes knowing he has the option
because he is always looking toward
the end of the world
toward the worse case scenario
And it’s not that he thinks a zombie apocalypse
is the way we will go
like some kind of Walking Dead situation
(But between you and me,
he might like that show a little too much)
I think he just wants to live
where the rest of the world
can’t touch him
Because sometimes you’ve seen some shit, you know?
Sometimes your world can end
and nobody else even notices
Sometimes you wake up each day
and wonder what you will have to survive
this time
So maybe it’s all just getting to be
a little too much.
And I would think that if you buy
a zombie apocalypse bunker on Ebay
people start to leave you
alone, and the end of the world
starts to seem a little more like
something you can live through
